Prescription Refills Prescription Refills

Requests for routine medication and refills on prescriptions should be made during office hours when we have access to your records.  When you call our office at 814-723-8023, option 2,  please leave a message with patient's name, birthdate, medication, dosage, pharmacy and a phone number where you can be reached if there are any questions.

To refill medications on the patient portal, log into the portal, select the patient and click on Appointments and Requests tab.  Select Prescription Refill Request.  Choose the medication and which pharmacy you would like it sent to.  If there are any questions about the prescription, one of our nurses will call you back.  Otherwise, a message will be sent back to your portal when the prescription has been called into your pharmacy.  If your child's medication is not listed on the portal, please contact the office.

Controlled Medications (ADHD):  Please remember that your child needs evaluated every 3 months for ADHD in order to have the controlled medications refilled.  Controlled medications can now be sent electronically to your pharmacy.

It is important to note, when a provider e-prescribes a prescription to your pharmacy, it sometimes takes time for the prescription to be transferred electronically and may not be readily available for pick up at your pharmacy immediately.

Please allow 24 hours for all prescription refills.
